Dorothy J. Guy Porter

Grace Bible Church member. Dorothy J. Guy Porter, 77, of Claysville, died Monday, March 23, 2009, in Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington. She was born October 15, 1931, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of George W. and Wilma Frazier Guy. Mrs. Porter was a 1950 graduate of the former Triadelphia High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Bible Church, West Middletown, where she was a member of the missionary group. On April 19, 1951, she married Paul D. Porter, who died June 28, 1997. Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Martin of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Florence Guy of Triadelphia, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Michael Edward Martin and Benjamin Wesley Martin. Deceased is a son, Wesley Porter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, with Pastor Steve Spence officiating. Burial will follow in West Alexander Cemetery.
