Rose M. Nevil

Rose Marie Mirack Nevil, 84, of Washington, Pennsylvania, formerly of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in the Washington Hospital. She was born January 23, 1925, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Francis and Constance Varano Mirack. Mrs. Nevil worked for over 15 years as a medical secretary in a physician�s office. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, and enjoyed word search puzzles. In 1957, she married Graydon F. Nevil, who died December 7, 2007. Surviving are two sons, Stanley D. (Janet) Waraksa of Washington and Kenneth M. (Betty Anne) Nevil of East Stroudsburg; a daughter, Barbara Ann (Matt) Walter of East Stroudsburg; a stepson, Grayden F. Nevil of Allegany, New York; a stepdaughter, Pam Nevil of Maryland; one brother, Joseph Mirack of Shamokin; and five grandchildren, Destinee Nevil, Jessica Nevil, Nicholas Olszyk, Katelyn Olszyk and Christopher Waraksa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon, Monday, November 16th, in Mother Cabrini Church, 214 North Shamokin Street, Shamokin. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
