Mary Jane Durbin, 72, of Washington, died Thursday, January 14, 2010, in The Washington Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born September 13, 1937, in Doddridge County, West Virginia, a daughter of Brooks Coffman and Ruth Thorn Coffman. Mrs. Durbin was a graduate of Salem College. She was a business teacher at McGuffey High School for 20 years. Mrs. Durbin enjoyed attending sporting events at McGuffey High and Middle Schools and especially enjoyed being a mom. On July 24, 1975, she married Thomas M. Durbin, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John (Tricia) Ciccolella of Rosslyn Farms and Jim (Kathleen) Ciccolella of Canton Township; two brothers, Lyle Coffman of Glenville, West Virginia, and Ora Coffman of West Union, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan and Emme; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Janice Perri. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 18th, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Boulevard, Suite 200, Pittsburgh PA 15235.
