Kristen Anne Beckman

Kristen Anne Beckman, 54, of Pittsburgh PA died on November 17, 2009. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Paul and Mary Beckman, she is sister to Paul, Karla, Michelle and Mark; a sister-in-law to Steve, Bonnie, Kevin, Laurie, Donald, David and Joanne; aunt to Kimberly, Carrie, Kevin, David, Maria, Aidan, Jessie, Annie and Benjamin; Kristen wed Eddie Heal in 1982, their love is endless. Kristen graduated from Youngstown State University and the University of Pittsburgh obtaining her doctorate in Anthropology. She was a long-time Vice President of Cultural Resources at Skelly & Loy as well as Managing Partner of OMNI Associates. Her joy for life, her charm and love for her family and friends will make her greatly missed by all. Private services were held at home; in lieu of flowers Kristen believed in Beginning with Books Center for Early Literacy, and Pet Connection: Cat Rescue Adoption Service, Avonmore, PA.
