Donna Darlene Bird, 45, of Canonsburg, died January 27, 2010, in her residence with her family by her side, following a two-year illness.
She was born January 17, 1965, in Washington, a daughter of George “Joe” Miller and Shirley Loughman Miller of Washington.
Ms. Bird was a 1983 graduate of McGuffey High School. She was a homemaker and had formerly worked at King’s and Eat ‘N Park.
Ms. Bird loved people and food, being with her family, attending concerts and her furry friend, Gizmo.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her companion of many years, Wayne Kraeer, with whom she made her home; a son, Kyle Bird of Canonsburg; a daughter, Farrah Bird of Canonsburg; a grandmother, Sarah Ankrom of Washington.
Deceased are grandparents, Charles and Audrey Loughman and grandfather, Louis Miller.
Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, February 1st, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Todd Staple of Central Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
