Lillian Rose Werner, 90, of Washington, formerly of Laurel Gardens, Ross Township, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 18, 1919, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Joseph and Margaret Helfrich Tabor. Mrs. Werner was a homemaker who worked part-time at F.W. Woolworth & Co. for 10 years. She was Catholic by faith. 1944, she married Frederick A. Werner, who died May 5, 1994. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Lynn and John D’Eletto of Ninevah. Deceased are a brother, Carl Tabor; and three sisters, Margaret Werner, Florence Blackburn and Esther Grattan. A Blessing Service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 23rd, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Uniondale Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
