Rev. Linda Kay Ackley

Rev. Linda Kay Ackley, 62, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in the Donnell House, following a ten-year illness. She was born June 18, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Allen and Elsie Beabout Ackley. Rev. Ackley was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church in Lawrence and was a homemaker. She was avidly involved in the Washington County Drug and Alcohol Program counseling. Surviving are a son, John (Tanya) Riggle; two daughters, Micheale Patterson, of Washington, and Franki Jo Ardeno, of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Angel, Barbara, Jeremy, John, Channing, Chico, Bobby, L.J., and Paige; three great grandchildren, Rylee, Kayden, and Mahalia Mae; a cousin, Roger Beabout, and Daphney Willis and sons. Deceased is a grandchild, Micheale. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010, with Rev. Melvin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. John’s Baptist Church, Third Street, Lawrence, PA 15055.
