Washington homemaker enjoyed baking and crafts.
Cecelia A. Kelly, 77, of Washington, died Friday, May 1, 2009, in Kindred Hospital, Oakdale, following a brief illness.
She was born July 26, 1931, in Belmont, Ohio, a daughter of George W. Imer Sr. and Nellie Stankovich Imer.
Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, playing bingo and collecting angels.
She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church.
On January 3, 1963, she married Fred Kelly, who died in 1988.
Surviving are three stepsons, James Kelly of Florida, Fred Kelly of Michigan and Tom Kelly of Florida; two stepdaughters, Pat Chatfield of Florida and Catherine "Sis" Szewc of Oregon; two sisters, Jeanne Boich of Galena, Ohio, and Margaret (Maggie) Reed of Raleigh, N.C.; several stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, George W. Imer Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, with the Rev. Edward R. DeLair Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in West Alexander Cemetery.
