Tim E. Salsberry, 57, of Washington, died unexpectedly March 14, 2010, in The Washington Hospital.
He was born February 27, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late George E. and Mary Lou Blaker Salsberry.
He worked in the safety division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and was a former employee at Fairmont Supply Company for 25 years.
He was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. He also belonged to the Washington Elks.
Tim enjoyed golfing, and loved travelling, animals and his family.
He will be greatly missed, not only by his family and friends, but also by his beloved cats, Bucky B., Gracie and Mamie.
Mr. Salsberry was a 1971 graduate of Washington High School. He had a Bachelor’s degree from West Liberty College, an MBA from Waynesburg University, and also held an Associate’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College.
On October 16, 2006, he married Lisa Stahl, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Joe E. (Susan) Salsberry, of New Jersey; special aunts and uncles, Amy and Bob Shalk and Merle and Carol Blaker and a niece, Kristin E. Salsberry.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317, where additional visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Thomas Hamilton officiating. Interment will be private and held at a later date in the Washington Cemetery.
