Betty Jane Milhoan, 84, of Washington, died Monday, January 11, 2010, in Kade Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 2, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of George and Elizabeth Stepp Neville.
Mrs. Milhoan was a January 1944 graduate of Washington High School and attended Penn Commercial for 2 years.
She was a secretary at Duncan Miller Glass and then a sales clerk at Troutmann�s and Bon-Ton for 25 years.
Mrs. Milhoan was a member of First Christian Church, where she was treasurer of the 2&2 Class and played on the dart ball team. She was also a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed playing cards with her card club, bowling and traveling.
On November 28, 1946, she married Harry D. Milhoan, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Greg N. Milhoan of Washington.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 15th, with Rev. Norman Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ginger Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church Building Fund, 615 East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301.
