Mary Bertha Scariot, 89, of Washington, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, in Washington Hospital.
She was born October 27, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of Brady and Blanche McDaide Amos.
Mrs. Scariot attended Buffalo Schools. She worked as a selector-packer at Brockway for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Scariot was a member of Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening.
On August 6, 1956, she married Russell Paul Scariot, who died October 13, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter, Katheryn (Joseph) Spin of Indiana; a brother, Jim Amos of Washington; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Cynthia Diane Scariot and Carolyn Harps; and four brothers, William, Robert, Homer and Ivan Amos.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 9th, with Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
