Eleanor J. Bucenell

Eleanor J. Bucenell, 93, of Washington, formerly of Marianna, died at the Donnell House on Sunday, October 10, 2010. She was born August 27, 1917, in Crucible, a daughter of William and Elizabeth Quinn Morgan. Mrs. Bucenell served as church pianist and choir director of the Marianna United Methodist Church and gave private piano lessons for many years. After moving to Washington, she became a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir. She also sang with the Washington County Arts Choir for several years. Surviving are a daughter, Eleanor (Vincent) Brunetti of Washington; four grandchildren, Rhonda (Richard) Shaw of Weirton, West Virginia, Sandra Coram of Wheeling, West Virginia, Daniel (Pamela) Stephens of Washington, and David (Evelyn) Stephens of Marianna; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are her husband, Richard Bucenell, who died January 11, 2004; a daughter, Loretta A. Fien; and three brothers, Arthur, William and Frank Morgan. Friends will be received Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13th, in Faith United Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Ed DeLair officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301; or to Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
