Washington homemaker enjoyed time with family.
Lily May Naylor Harter, 74, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010, in Washington Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Orvel J. and Cora E. Huffine Naylor.
Mrs. Harter was a homemaker and had worked at the former Hazel Atlas 2, Bobby Brooks and Skirpan.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, who loved her and will dearly miss her. She also enjoyed the casino, word finds, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards with her family.
On July 23, 1955, she married John H. "Smokey" Harter, who survives.
Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Dave (Jean) Naylor, Billy Naylor, Rickie Huffine, Margaret (Jim) Howard, Kitty Cortez and Joy Naylor; four daughters, Vickie (Don) Bedillion, Fran (Dave) Pieper, Tracy Huffman and Jody (Joe) Startare; 10 grandchildren, Stacy (Rob) Armstrong, Misty Bedillion, Tammy Bedillion, Nicole Pieper, Taylor Pieper, Morgan Pieper, Melissa (Rodger) Andreone, Amanda Huffman, Savannah Startare and Jeremiah Startare; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Orvel Naylor Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 3, with the Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating.www.NealFuneralHome.com.
