Teresa Mae Toth

Teresa Mae Toth, 77, of Washington, died Monday, August 6, 2007, in Canonsburg General Hospital, after being in failing health the past twelve years. She was born May 13, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Samuel and Rose Maggi Comito. Mrs. Toth graduated from Trinity High School in 1948 and attended Penn Commercial. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was a homemaker, who enjoyed baking, cooking, and her grandchildren. On February 3, 1951, she married John G. Toth, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John G. Jr. (Jennifer) Toth, of Springfield, OH.; two daughters, Terri (Dan) Michael, of Washington, and Joni (Reese) Slater, of Wheeling, WV; four sisters, Mary Flis, Emma (Louis Jr.) Aquilino, Norma (Fred) Tracanna, and Beatrice (Harry) Lee, all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Captain Eric Michael, Andrew, Scott, Carly, and Kristen Slater, Christopher and Kaitlin Toth. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2007, in Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut Street, Washington, with Father William Feeney, as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
