Thomas Randell Coffman, 53, of Houston, died at 8:10 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2007, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born May 4, 1954, in Uniontown, a son of Jean Savage, of Houston, with whom he made his home, and Robert Coffman, of Peters Township. Mr. Coffman graduated from Trinity High School in 1971. He served in the U.S. Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Coffman was employed by the U.S. Navy, as a Navy Boiler Technician. He was an avid marksman and a member of the Canonsburg Sportsman’s Club, a member of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 American Legion, Washington Lodge #164 F & AM, Patriot Riders, Pittsburgh Shrine – Hiram’s Riders, a life member of Harley Owners Group and various other “Hogâ€쳌 owners associations. Mr. Coffman was also a member of West Washington United Methodist Church. He is survived by a son, Max William (Christina) Cummings, of Hawaii; a brother, Bryon K. (Barbara) Coffman, of Canonsburg, and a grandchild, Mackenzie Alexandra Cummings. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Military rites will be accorded by Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 American Legion.
