Mary Mundell

Mary Lorraine Mundell, 90, of Washington, died Friday, December 29, 2006, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg. She was born November 23, 1916, in Moundsville, West Virginia, a daughter of Stanley and Catherine Astenborwska Maryanski. Mrs. Mundell worked as an assembler at River Raisin (Union Camp) for twenty-five years. She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington, and past president of the Auxiliary of F.O. E. #687. On August 21, 1943, she married Jack T. Mundell, who died February 2, 1988. Surviving are a son, Jack T. (Winnie) Mundell, Jr., of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a brother, Alfred (Margaret) Maryanski of Washington; two grandchildren, Shawn and Kristy Mundell; and a great-granddaughter, Mary Nicole. Deceased are two brothers, Eugene Maryanski and Joseph Maryanski and a sister, Irene McCluskey. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2007, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, with Father Thomas D. O’ Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
