Maryann Theresa Decker, 72, of Washington, died Sunday, July 3, 2010, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1937, in Dickson City, a daughter of Joseph Edward and Mary Ann Lozarick Budzinski.
Ms. Decker was a homemaker who had formerly worked as a dispatcher at the former Town Taxi, as a seamstress at Bobbi Brooks and at Pro-Motion.
She loved to travel and have fun. She also loved to read, especially the Bible, which, since 1994, she read for an hour every morning and evening. Mrs. Decker was very kind and always helpful to those in need.
Surviving are her companion of 41 years, Richard Mathis; two sons, Thomas (Dawna) Williams of Orlando, Florida, and Brian Decker of Scranton; and one daughter, Sharon Roberts of Belton, South Carolina; two brothers, Bobby and Richard; and a sister, Dolores Shoritoski, all of Scranton; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased is a brother, Joseph.
There will be no public visitation or services.
