William Thomas Cutlip, 74, of Avella, died Monday, July 12, 2010, in his residence.
He was born September 18, 1935, in Avella, a son of Ruth Hoyt Cutlip.
On June 11, 1958, he entered the U.S. Army. For his service he received a Good Conduct Medal and was Honorably Discharged on June 3, 1960.
Mr. Cutlip was a self-employed auto mechanic most of his working life. He also was a route carrier for the Observer-Reporter for twenty-six years.
He was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Cutlip loved to attend auctions.
On April 24, 1961, he married Carol Hice, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William R. (Carol) Cutlip, and Dale R. Cutlip, both of Avella; a sister, Darlene Ansell, of Avella; a grandson, Michael Cutlip; several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Robert Cutlip.
There will be no public visitation. The family will conduct a private service at their convenience.
