Mary Elizabeth Cain

Mary Elizabeth Sensky-Cain, 72, of Washington, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, in the Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health for seven years. She was born May 8, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Mary Jacobs Sensky. Mrs. Cain was a graduate of Washington High School, Penn Commercial College, Carlton House School of Real Estate, Pittsburgh, and I.T.T. School of Travel, New York. After owning and operating Cain’s Grooming Shop for 25 years, Mrs. Cain was owner and president of All Aboard Travel Agency, which she operated from her home for 15 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking and entertaining friends and family. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Democratic Women’s Club, and past member of South Hills Kennel Club, two Xi Gamma Kappa Sororities, and the Washington Hospital Auxiliary where she was chairperson for the 1980 Charity Ball. Mrs. Cain was also active in Washington Hockey League fundraisers and belonged to a card club for 42 years and a Tuesday luncheon group for 20 years. She loved and adored her pets, and will be sadly missed by Lexi and Bo. On April 25, 1959, in Immaculate Conception Church, she was united in marriage with Richard P. Cain, who survives. He was her husband as well as her best friend. Also surviving are a daughter, Cathy Lynn, wife of Jon A. Razvoza, of Washington; two sons, Richard Bryan, husband of Jodi Cain of Washington and Jasin Edmund, husband of Karen Cain of Bethel Park; a granddaughter, Katelyn Elizabeth Razvoza; her cousin, Anita M. Kongelka of Washington, who was like a sister to her; and three nephews, Robert S. Sensky of Drums, Eric L. Sensky of Westerville, Ohio, and Kory M. Sensky of Powell, Ohio. Deceased are a brother, Robert E. Sensky, who died in 1994; and a nephew, Brad A. Sensky. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 22nd, with Father Thomas P. O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
