Washington homemaker enjoyed sewing, puzzles.
Marcella V. "Sis" Bird, 78, of Washington, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Humbert Lane Health Care Centre, Washington, following a two-month illness.
She was born August 26, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of Mary Margaret Woods Hutter and John "Doc" Harrison Hutter.
Mrs. Bird was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and working puzzle books.
Surviving are her brothers, Charles, Edward and Wilbert Hutter of Washington and Raymond Hutter of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Agnes Kisner of Washington, her companion with whom she made her home; nieces Mary Jo Earnest of Toledo, Ohio, and Joyce Kisner of Elyria, Ohio; and nephews Ernest Kisner of Washington and Mark Kisner of Pittsburgh.
Her husband, Albert Bird, is deceased.
Also deceased are a daughter, Linda Sue Bird; sisters Alberta Zofchak and Mary Margaret Blazic; and brothers William John, Robert, Henry, James Samuel and Joseph Hutter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the hour of services, Tuesday, June 19, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Floyd Marasco officiating.
