Susan Carol Lewis, 60, of Washington, died Friday, July 30, 2010, in Donnell House, following a brief illness.
She was born July 15, 1950, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Susan Anderson Morris of Washington and the late Charles William Morris.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren and attending their sports activities.
She was a member of Living Waters Church of God.
On May 17, 1970, she married Randolph Thomas Lewis, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Randolph T. Lewis, Jr., of Washington; two daughters, Wendy Lewis Ballentyne and Linda A. Young, both of Washington; a brother, Donald W. Morris, Sr. of Washington; seven grandchildren, Breeze, Harmony, Summer, Bobby, Christina, Christopher and Kyle; an uncle, Robert E. Anderson; an aunt, Virginia Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, William E. and Walter F. Morris; and two sisters, Janet B. Varner and Mary Lou Matthews.
A gathering of friends will be held Friday from 3 to 4 p.m., the hour of service, in St. Paul AME Church, Washington, with Rev. Arthur Doctor officiating.
