Jeannine C. Montecalvo, 81, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, in Donnell House.
She was born August 6, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Charles Clark Cline and Minnie Carter Cline.
She graduated from Washington Seminary in 1947.
Mrs. Montecalvo was a life-long member of First Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School for 37 years and was a deacon.
She was a devoted employee, having worked as an office manager for Dr. Clyde Tibbens and Dr. George Tibbens, as well as Dr. Harkcom and Drs. Pareso and Brown, from where she retired after 20 years of service.
On July 30, 1949, she married Guy Montecalvo, who died February 25, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Guy V. (Marie) Montecalvo of Washington; a daughter, Rosemary (Bob) Bigley of Peters Township; four grandchildren, Suzanne M. (Joel) Antonucci, Laura N. Montecalvo, Jenna C. Bigley and Elise M. Bigley; nieces and nephews, Charles Wilson, Fred Wilson, Bob Wagner, Margie Bracey and Nancy Jones, as well as others by marriage; and many loving friends.
Also surviving are brothers- and sisters in-law; Rose (the late Arthur) Mazzie; Nello (the late Amelia) Marry, and James and Dorothy Montecalvo.
Deceased are a grandson, Jimmy C. Montecalvo; two brothers, Fred Wilson and Bill Wilson; and a sister, Twila Wagner; brother- and sisters in-law, Elizabeth Hartley, Sam and Mary Lou Motil.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held in Good Shepherd Church from 10 till 11 a.m., the time of service, on Saturday, November 20th, with Pastor Rick Wiater officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
