Joan Diane Minor

Joan Diane Minor, 61, of Washington, died unexpectedly Friday, November 2, 2007, in The Washington Hospital. She was born October 11, 1946, in New Eagle, a daughter of Walter Elmer and Pearl Eden Leopold. Mrs. Minor was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and caring for her children. On August 28, 1964, she married Ronald Ray Minor, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Ronald R. (Jackie) Minor, Jr. of Monroeville, Richard L. Minor of Washington and Daniel D. (Heidi) Minor of Harrison City; one daughter, Deane A. Minor of Monroeville, a brother, Wesley Leopold, Sr. of Cecil; and a grandchild, Kirsten. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m., the hour of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Meade Lacock officiating.
