and waitress
Linda Lee Huff, 65, of Washington, died Monday, June 29, 2009, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 14, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of the late Clarence "Dutch" and Victoria M. Cava Phillips.
Mrs. Huff graduated from Trinity High School in 1961 and was a graduate of Irene's Beauty Academy.
She was a beautician in local shops and was a waitress at Victory Diner for 10 years.
Mrs. Huff raised several foster children.
She enjoyed street car racing.
On October 15, 1967, she married David L. Huff Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Clarence Phillips "Dutch" (Malissa) Huff of Milesburg; two daughters, Stacey L. Hudson of St. Louis, Mo., and Kimberly L. Wells of Washington; three step-sons, David L. (Merle) Huff Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., Floyd Allen (Peggy) Huff of Bonnie, S.C., and Fred Corky (Cathy) Huff of Washington; a stepdaughter, Debbie (Harold) Hughes of Erie; a sister, Geraldine A. (Ernest) Dobscha of Washington; eight grandchildren, Isiah, Nathan, Anthony, Charles, Tawn, Jay'a, Jessica and Josh; 15 stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Tammy Loretta Huff; and a sister, Donna LuRita Phillips.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
