U.S. Army veteran enjoyed deer hunting and football
Clifford Carroll Chase, 61, of Washington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in his home.
He was born March 5, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late Carroll Wilbur and Goldie Virginia Durbin Chase.
Mr. Chase was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam.
He was a cook and delivery man for Mama Cheez Pizza.
Mr. Chase enjoyed deer hunting, hockey and football and was an avid Steelers fan.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, North Franklin Township.
Surviving are two brothers, Gary (Esther) Chase and Fred (Cindy) Chase, both of Washington; a sister, Nancy Chase of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
He also leaves Jo Shuba, whom he considered his son.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10th, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, with Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating.
