Mary Lee Armstrong, 77, of Washington, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in her residence.
She was born January 4, 1932, in Palmer, a daughter of John and Ethel Cutlip Leasure.
Mrs. Armstrong was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, ceramics and bowling with the Drakenfeld couples league.
She was Protestant.
On June 16, 1951, she married Ralph E. Armstrong, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ralph E. Armstrong, Jr. of Washington; two daughters, Cindi (Thomas) Smock of Upper St. Clair and Janet (David) Gullborg of McMurray; three grandchildren, Andrew Kohlmyer, Sybil McCue and Carly Wise; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Wise.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert and John Leasure.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, July 3rd, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery, Cecil Township.
