William H. Mulhollen, 84, of North Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Washington, died Friday, July 3, 2009, in the Coral Springs Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Mulhollen was born in Johnstown on April 16, 1925, a son of Howard and Sara Gertrude Drew Mulhollen.
He served in the United States Marine Corps. during World War II, 1st Marine Division in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Connumach Lions Club and T.P.A. Post # 5. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his mountain camp. Mr. Mulhollen was a Funeral Director and had been a long time casket salesman for several companies.
Surviving are a brother, Wilbur " Drew " Mulhollen of Pompano Beach, Florida, ; a niece Lynn Riker of Pompano Beach, Florida; a nephew William D. Mulhollen of Coral Gables, Florida, and several cousins.
Friends of William H. Mulhollen, 84, of North Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Washington, who died Friday, July 3, 2009, will be received on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, the time of services, conducted by Rev. Mary Sprowls, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Burial will follow on Thursday in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
