Grace Lucretia Pugliese, 95, of Washington, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
She was born March 15, 1914, in Walston, a daughter of Nicholas and Angelina Margiotti.
Mrs. Pugliese was a graduate of Mercyhurst Academy in Erie.
On August 9, 1933, she married Pittsburgh attorney Sebastian Pugliese.
Grace was a devoted mother and homemaker and valued education highly. She loved people and could make conversation easily.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sebastian; a grandson, Charles; an uncle, Charles Margiotti; and two brothers, Sam and Dominic Margiotti.
Surviving are two sons, Sebastian (Diane) Pugliese of Altoona, and Joseph (Ann) Pugliese of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter, Romaine Carroll of Washington; four grandchildren, Sebastian Pugliese, Jeffrey Pugliese, Kristen Bell and Marie Schick; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation for close friends and caregivers will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, followed by burial service and entombment at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
