Charles Ellsworth Heath

Charles E. Heath, 64, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Monday, June 1, 2009, in his residence. He was born February 19, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, a son of Melvin and Anna Mae Furmara Devenney. Mr. Heath attended Trinity Schools and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a North Franklin Road Supervisor for more than 8 years and owned and operated CJ’s Scooter Shack. Mr. Heath enjoyed riding motorcycles, rebuilding old cars and making wine. Surviving are a daughter, Sheena (Paul) Eltahch of Washington; two sons, Chris (Leslie) Ballani of Pickerington, Ohio, and Antonio Heath of Washington; three grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Ballani and Trenton Eltahch. Friends will be received Saturday from 4 till 7 p.m., the hour of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Jim York officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
