Jane Flynn, 90, of Eighty-Four, died Friday, February 16, 2007, in the Washington Hospital following a two-year illness.
She was born February 12, 1917, in Cameron, West Virginia, a daughter of Mark and Olive Hughes Meighen.
Mrs. Flynn graduated from West Alexander High School and West Liberty College.
She taught school for four years, and also worked as a unit secretary at the Washington Hospital for 12 years and as head banquet coordinator at the George Washington Hotel for 12 years.
Mrs. Flynn was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Washington.
On September 4, 1944, she married Harry T. �Huck� Flynn, who died July 2, 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Terri Diann (J. Bruce) McElhaney, of Eighty-Four; two sisters, Bernice Stollar of Claysville and Peg Meighen of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are three brothers, John, Frank, and Harold Meighen.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007, with Rev. Dr. D. Jay Losher officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P.O.
