Caregiver for 30 years enjoyed bingo
Eleanor Maxine Aurouze, 84, of Washington, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Washington Hospital.
She was born March 25, 1925, in Ohiopyle, a daughter of Ross and Helen Rush Cunningham.
Mrs. Aurouze was a private duty caregiver for 30 years. She enjoyed playing bingo throughout the area.
Her first husband, Paul G. Keidel, is deceased. On August 23, 1973, she married Harry J. Aurouze, who died May 17, 2005.
Surviving are a son, Bruce Keidel, and a daughter, Vicki L. Keidel, both of Washington; two stepsons, James H. Aurouze of Waldorf, Md., and Gary Aurouze of Claremont, Calif.; two brothers, Warren Cunningham of Ohio and John "Jack" Cunningham of McDonald; three sisters, Ruth Ann Phillips of San Diego, Calif., Janet Stoffregen of California and Sarah Lou Orr of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Jamie and Karen; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Christiann.
Deceased is a brother, Ray Cunningham.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 19. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. There will be no visitation Monday.
