Patricia Ann Humbert

Patricia Ann Humbert, 60, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in her residence. She was born June 20, 1949, in Washington, a daughter of the late George S. and Mary Bennington Robertson. Mrs. Humbert graduated from Washington High School in 1967 and from Washington Hospital School of Nursing in 1969. In July 1969, she started a forty-year nursing career at the Washington Hospital, where she still worked at the time of her death. Mrs. Humbert was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was a season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed all sports. On February 20, 1971, she married Joseph A. Humbert Jr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason J. Humbert and Nicholas B. Humbert, both of Ashburn, Virginia; and two grandchildren, Jacob A. Humbert and Chloe E. Humbert. Deceased is a brother, Robert L. Robertson. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17th. Private burial will be held at a later date in Virginia.
