Construction worker enjoyed fishing
Robert William Welsh Jr., 47, of Washington, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, following a seven-month illness.
He was born March 28, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late Robert W. Sr. and Norma Jean O'Brien Welsh.
Mr. Welsh was a construction worker and enjoyed fishing, camping and attending concerts.
He formerly attended Union Valley Methodist Church in Greene County.
Surviving are a son, Robert Welsh of Washington; four sisters, Patricia Dobscha of Washington, Deborah J. Allyn of Denver, Colo., Norma J. Welsh of Washington and Elizabeth A. Welsh of Denver; two grandchildren, Robert W. Welsh IV and Kye Matthew Frantz; nine nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of services, Sunday, August 7, in Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
