James Molinaro, Sr., 75, of Washington, died Thursday, September 9, 2004, in the Washington County Health Center following a lengthy illness. He was born in Washington on August 7, 1929, a son of Salvatore and Virginia DeSarro Molinaro. Mr. Molinaro was Catholic. He had worked for many years in the Washington School District as a bus driver.
Surviving are a son, James Molinaro, Jr., of Canonsburg; a daughter Irene Byrd of Washington; four brothers, Carmine, Sam, Joe, and Pete Molinaro, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Lisa Lynn and Jared James Molinaro, Zackary Lee and Amber Nicolette Byrd.
Preceding him in death are an infant son; two sisters, Angeline Hickman and Mary Chicarella; five brothers, John, Tinker, Tony, Frank Molinaro and Guy Miller.
Friends of James Molinaro, Sr., 75, of Washington, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2004, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
