Waynesburg millwright, photographer Ronald J. Phillips, 74, of Waynesburg, died Friday, January 11, 2008. He was born March 22, 1933, in Blacksville, W.Va., a son of Acie Leo and Bertha A. Jones Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a millwright and a photographer. He also enjoyed collecting antiques. Surviving are two daughters, April Ricci of Jefferson and Joy Angelo of Fredericktown; a son, James Tyrone Phillips of Fredericktown; a brother, Marvin Phillips of Waynesburg; and seven grandchildren, A.J. Ricci, Bo Ricci, Olivia Ricci, Joey Angelo, Jacob Angelo, Dakota Phillips and Sierra Phillips. He also leaves a longtime friend, William Wilkes. Deceased is a granddaughter, Sarah J. Ricci. Visitation and services are private and handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
