Olga Mae Phillips, 66, of Washington, died Thursday, December 20, 2007, in The Washington Hospital. She had been ill since 2000. She was born September 8, 1941, in Greene County, a daughter of Clifford and Anna Wolfe Dillie. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading, and shopping at the mall. She was a member of Friendship Community Church for many years. On October 20, 1960, she married Harry L. Phillips, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Harry L. Phillips, III; a daughter, Michelle L. (Michael) Phillips; one brother, Lloyd Dillie; five sisters, Linda Hayes, Sarah “Louise” Salisbury, Jane Holmes, Beverly Dillie and Charlotte Keener, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Cody, Lindsey, and Amber Conner, and Brandon Phillips. Deceased are two brothers, Rexie and Clifford Dillie.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
