Ellamaye R. Calvert

Ellamaye R. Calvert, 61, of Washington, died Friday, April 25, 2008, in her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 18, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of William R. and Orlanda Taylor Kimmey. Mrs. Calvert graduated from McGuffey High School in 1964. She was a clerk at Route 19 Bowling Lanes for twelve years and enjoyed bowling and spending time at home. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Lee; two sons, Billy Joe Kimmey, of Washington, and Brian “Scott” Calvert, of Mesa, Arizona; a daughter, Patty Harps, of Washington; a brother, William R. Kimmey, of Washington, and two sisters, Barbara Kimmey, of Hazelton, and Betty Kimmey, of Washington; and six grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Christopher Lee Calvert; and a sister, Margie Kimmey. A graveside service and burial was Saturday, April 26, 2008, in Prosperity Cemetery. Arrangements were by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
