Loving Pastor�s Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Ella M. Wilson, 81, of Washington, died Sunday morning, April 27, 2008, unexpectedly in her home.
She was born March 9, 1927, in Eighty-Four, PA, a daughter of Stanley Wilson and Helen Johnston Wilson. Mrs. Wilson graduated from Washington High School in 1945. She had been an employee of Duncan Miller and the Parrot Gift Shop. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, sewing and family get-togethers.
On August 11, 1946, she married Rev. Roy R. Wilson, of Houston, PA, who survives. He was the pastor of the Washington Christian and Missionary Alliance Church for 27 years.
Also surviving are a son, Rev. Richard (Jeanne) Wilson and two daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Markley and Jeanne (William) Moore, all of Washington; twelve grandchildren, Erin (David) Dinch, Daniel (Lisa) Wilson, Nathan (Amanda) Wilson, Melanie (Lawrence) Lytton, Steven (Becky) Shoup, Rachel (Scott) Chunko, Onilee Markley, Jonathan (Michelle) Markley, Ashlee (Zachary) Stringer, William Moore, Andrew Moore, Samuel Moore and nine great grandchildren.
Also surviving is one sister, Annabelle W. Reilly of Washington and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents, are one sister, Bertha G. (Richard) Sprowls, of Washington, and one great granddaughter.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
