Wade Wendell Alexander Gantz, Jr., 50, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, after a brief illness.
He was born May 18, 1957, in Washington, a son of Marcella Morgan Gantz, of Wheeling, WV, and the late Wade Wendell Gantz, Sr.
Mr. Gantz was self-employed as a sub-contractor for more than 20 years.
Mr. Gantz was a 1975 graduate of Washington High School. He was a member of Sons of the Legion, Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 and was Christian.
Surviving, in addition to his mother are his Godmother, Rosemary Curran; a brother, Harry (Annette) Gantz, of Wheeling, WV; a sister, Lynn (Dave) Kaufman, of Cherry Log, GA; and 4 nephews, Harrison, Morgan, Nolan and Isaac Gantz; and a niece, Angela Pearl.
Deceased is his twin brother, Michael, who died at birth.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, with Pastor John Rasz officiating. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
