Cody Christopher Reed

Cody Christopher Reed, 19, of Washington, died Sunday, April 20, 2008. He was born November 11, 1988, in Washington, a son of Merle K. Reed, of Washington and Melody Murner McVay, of Washington. Cody worked as a laborer for SMS Millcraft. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and outdoor activities. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his fiancée, Heather Ullom and daughter, Haley Reed; a brother, Cameron Reed, who is currently serving in the United States Military in Japan, and a sister, Angel Reed, of Washington. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2008. The family requests casual attire for the visitation and funeral. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery. A trust will be established for his daughter, Haley Reed.
