Marlene Violet Shaughnessy

Marlene V. Shaugghnessy, 72, of Washington, formerly of Florida, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 in Washington Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Cumberland, Maryland, on March 13, 1932, a daughter of William and Lillian Campbell Chenowith. She had worked many years as a manager of various food concessions. She is Methodist by faith. Surviving are a son, Donald MacDougall of Washington; three daughters, Sandra K. MacDougall of Geneva, Illinois, Susan Muntz of Pinckney, Michigan, and Karen Kaufmann of Bridgeport, West Virginia; a brother, William Chenowith of Fenton, Michigan; a sister, Janet Macainsh of Gregory, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Steven, Douglas, Damien, Erin, Allison, Sean, Matthew, Evan, and Brian. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
