Josephine C. Kendra

Charter member of Miraculous Medal Church Josephine C. Kendra, 86, of Washington, died Thursday, November 7, 2002, in Beverly Health Care, McMurray, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 10, 1915, in Washington, a daughter of John and Rose Schiller Kutzer. Mrs. Kendra was a charter member of Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church in Meadow Lands. On June 8, 1940, she married Joseph Kendra, who died June 30, 2000. Surviving are a daughter, Rose Marie Bizzack of Washington; and three grandchildren, Gerald and Joseph Coleman and Tricia Mankoski. Deceased are five brothers, Jonnas, Frank, Joseph, Thomas and William Kutzer; and three sisters, Anna Zanin, Margaret Shannon and Helen Burns. KENDRA - Friends of Josephine C. Kendra of Washington, who died Thursday, November 7, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, in Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church, Meadow Lands, with the Rev. John O'Shea as celebrant. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
