Hannah Geraldine Faris Mcclelland

Hannah Geraldine Faris McClelland, 86 of Washington died Wednesday in the home of her daughter Sandra following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 13, 1916 in west Finley Township the daughter of John Wilbert and Dessie Deane Miller Faris. Mrs. McClelland had worked as a housekeeper for many years having worked at Sears for more than 10 years and Washington & Jefferson College. On August 27, 1971 she married Merle E. McClelland who died in 1981. She is survived by three sons; Robert Stahl of Sturgis, Michigan, Ross " Butch " and David Stahl both of Washington; Two daughters, Sandra Clark of Meadowlands and Nancy Sphar of Avella; a sister Beatrice Conn of Washington; 16 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. Preceding her in death two brothers; James Robert and Raymound W. Faris, two sisters, Gladys " Muzzy " Faris Mounts and Harriet Virginia Faris McCoy, and a Grandchild Karen Sue Ruff. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington. Services held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 PM with burial in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
