Member of Church of the Covenant Mildred M. Wilson, 92, of Washington, died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in Donnell House, Washington, following a lengthy illness. She was born March 24, 1910, in Washington, a daughter of Hugh M. and Edna P. Simpson Sprowls. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Covenant in Washington. She was a 1930 graduate of Claysville High School. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed traveling, reading and needlework. On May 30, 1934, she married R. Harry Wilson, who died July 3, 1973. Surviving are a son, Robert H. Wilson Sr. of Saylorsburg; a daughter, Elizabeth P. Wilson of Washington; three grandchildren, Valeri Vedral and Robert H. Jr. and Jason E. Wilson; and a great-grandson. Deceased are a brother, Clayton K. Sprowls; and a sister, Helen J. Sprowls. WILSON - A memorial service for Mildred M. Wilson of Washington, who died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 2, in Church of the Covenant, East Beau Street, Washington, with the Rev. William Meyer and the Rev. Donald G. Phillips officiating. Prior to the service, a private interment will be held in West Middletown Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Church of the Covenant, East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301; or Hospice of Washington Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
