Meadows racetrack trainer in National Guard
Robert W. "Crunch" Grayson, 47, of Washington, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, in Washington Hospital.
He was born June 4, 1956, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond Herbert and Geneva Patterson Grayson.
Mr. Grayson was a member of Bethlehem Temple.
He worked as a trainer at The Meadows racetrack and was a member of the National Guard.
Mr. Grayson was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School.
He enjoyed bingo, cards and horses.
For 16 years, he made his home with Mary Jo Kisner of Washington.
Surviving are two sons, Tyler Grayson, at home, and Robert W. Grayson of Canonsburg; six daughters, Amy and Tracy Kisner, both at home, Jennifer Campbell and Devonna Grayson, both of Canonsburg and Tamika and Christina Grayson, both of Washington; two brothers, Terry E. and David A. Grayson, both of Washington; three sisters, Sondra Wilder, Dianna Terell and Margaret D. Grayson, all of Washington; and eight grandchildren, Jereimih Cox, Michael and Tarahja Jackson, Kiona Campbell, Russell and Rateesha Porter, Amolri Miller and Justice Grayson.
Deceased are a grandson, Diontae Cox; two brothers, Raymond H. Jr. and Anthony Grayson; and two sisters, Patricia A. and Dorothy E. Grayson.
GRAYSON - Friends of Robert W. "Crunch" Grayson of Washington, who died Thursday, April 8, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, with Pastor Willie Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
