Juanita Pleil, 76, of Washington, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in Washington Hospital emergency room. She was born January 20, 1928, in Rosario Loma, Paraguay, South America, a daughter of Otto and Dora Schubert Pleil. She was a homemaker and enjoyed animals, reading, knitting, gardening and working in her home. Miss Pleil attended Glenn Street Free Methodist Church. Surviving are seven brothers, Augusto Pleil of Washington, Hermann Pleil of Canada, Adolf Pleil of Torrington, Conn., Carlos Pleil of Fort Myers, Fla., Heinrich and Friedrich Pleil, both of Bogota, Colombia, and Artur Pleil of Asuncion, Paraguay; and a sister, Elsa Pleil Manendel of Alliance, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will begin at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, October 3, with the Rev. Ted Chapman officiating.
