Eva Mae Harris

Washington homemaker Eva Mae Harris, 82, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Washington Hospital, following a four-month illness. She was born June 6, 1920, in North River Mills, W.Va., a daughter of Edward F. and Ella Mae Willison Largent. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. On April 19, 1941, she married Earl Robert Harris, who died March 12, 2003. Surviving are two brothers, William Largent of Hartsville, Ohio, and Benjamin Largent of Woodsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Irene Cecil of Columbus, Ohio, and Donna Myers of Ridgeway, S.C.; and a niece. Deceased are a sister, Wenona Barney; and three brothers, Marcellus Largent and two brothers, who died at birth. HARRIS - Friends of Eva Mae Harris of Washington, who died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory. .
