Virginia I. Thompson

Virginia Irene " RoseBud " Thompson, age 63 of Washington died Friday in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born on January 10, 1939 in Greene County the daughter of Cecil and Clara Virginia Farabee Toland. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Elks Lodge 687. She worked at the former Washington Restaurant and enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving are a brother Charles Farabee, a sister Shirley Burt, four nieces and 12 great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 6-9 PM in our Allison Avenue location.Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
