Lois Virginia Moninger Iannone Norgaar, 82, of West Sacramento, Calif., died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, August 10, 2003, in Asbury Park Skilled Nursing Facility, Calif., following a four-week illness.
She was born September 13, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of Arnet Owen and Helen Gertrude Webb Moninger.
Mrs. Norgaar was a member of West Washington Methodist Church and Bell Telephone 10-Year Club.
She was employed by Duncan Miller Glass, Bell Telephone Co. in Washington, where she was a supervisor, and Pacific Telephone Co., where she was a supervisor.
Mrs. Norgaar attended Washington High School.
In 1941, she married Rocco Theodore Iannone, who died in 1947.
In 1968, she married Lowell Norgaar, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Al Iannone of Elk Grove, Calif.; a daughter, Linda Iannone Vivian of Washington; a brother, John Moninger of Washington; two sisters, Oda Horn of Washington and Milly Bently of Sacramento; and three grandchildren, Michael and Steven Iannone and Renee DiNardo.
NORGAAR - Friends of Lois Virginia Norgaar of West Sacramento, Calif., who died Sunday, August 10, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and noon to 2 p.m., the hour of services, Friday, August 15, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas Clymer officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
