Ann Florence Ednie

Former waitress at Tower Restaurant Ann Florence Ednie, 85, of Washington, died Thursday, August 14, 2003, in Washington Hospital. She was born November 5, 1917, in Claysville, a daughter of Francis and Blanche A. Whitlach Burris. Mrs. Ednie was Protestant. She was formerly employed as a waitress by Tower Restaurant and the Auld Hotel. Her husband, Arthur D. Polen, is deceased. Surviving are a son, Charles Arthur Polen of Washington; a sister, Pearl Redling of Washington; four grandchildren, Laurie Ann Polen, Stephanie Lynn Ames, Diana Christine Myers and Amy Beth Polen; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
